Please read before booking your class place as all bookings are subject to these terms.
Providers
All workshops at Sea to Shore Artisan Collective are hosted by our artisan members. The following constitutes Sea to Shore Artisan Collective’s Workshop Terms and Conditions
Cancellations
For cancellations made up to 2 weeks in advance a full refund or one free date change is offered.
For cancellations made 1-2 weeks in advance a refund of 50% (minus a £5 admin fee) will be issued.
A cancellation made within one week of the date of the scheduled class is not eligible for a refund or date change.
If you have accepted a change of date you are no longer eligible for an offer of a refund.
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send someone in your place; this is acceptable provided the substitute is physically able to complete the class. Please provide your replacement’s name, phone number and email address in advance of the workshop. They must read and agree to the Terms and Conditions and all Health and Safety guidance; including that on suitable footwear.
If you are unwell and unable to attend (or may have an infectious illness and have been advised not to attend) please contact us as soon as possible. We will hold your booking until a suitable future date can be arranged.
Sea to Shore Artisan Collective and the Sea to Shore Artisan Collective member hosting the workshop reserves the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances.
If Sea to Shore Artisan Collective or it’s host member is forced to Cancel:
In the unlikely event Sea to Shore Artisan Collective or its host member has to cancel a class you will be offered an alternative date in the first instance.
If an alternative date cannot be offered you will receive a full refund.
If the cancellation is due to health-related Government advice Sea to Shore Artisan Collective will offer one or more alternative dates first. If no dates can be found that suit you will be entitled to a refund.
Sea to Shore Artisan Collective and it’s members cannot accept responsibility for travel, accommodation or other incidental costs you may have incurred.
14 day cooling off period – Consumer Protection Regulations
For class bookings made online the 14 day cooling off period applies, according to Consumer Protection Law.
For this cooling off period to apply you must advise us by email or phone or in person within the 14 days, which commence on the day you make your booking.
A full refund of class fees paid by that date will be made, via the original payment method.
For classes which start within the 14 days, by booking you are agreeing that the class can take place before the cooling off period ends and that your right to cancel expires on the start of the class.
Class Fees and Materials
Your class fee constitutes your booking.
Where additional materials are required the class description will state this.
Otherwise, materials and any advertised refreshments are included.
Disabilities and Accessibility
If you have any special special requirements, please let Sea to Shore Artisan Collective know before you book any classes. We will do our best to accommodate you.
If you have specific mobility, access or working requirements, please get in touch before booking so you can advised.
Photography
Photographs will be taken of your creations.
Sea to Shore and it’s members may wish to display a photograph of your finished work on the website – if so, permission will be sought. Please bear in mind that others may be inspired by your work and wish to copy it.
Photographs may be taken during the class to be used for promotional purposes both on Sea to Shore Artisan Collective’s and its members websites and social media accounts. Please advise at the start of the session if you would rather not be photographed.
Postage
Glass items will be ready for collection around 7-10 days after a class, but they can also be posted to you for the cost price of postage. Whilst every effort is taken to protect your creation for postage by using suitable packaging, Deep Waters Glass cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred in transit. However, if an item does arrive damaged please contact Deep Waters Glass to discuss any possible solutions.
Under 18s Policy
Most classes are designed for adults. Where glass fusing classes are offered for children they must remain under close adult supervision for the duration of the class.
Start and finish times
The start time of your class will be advised in your class description. Please aim to arrive a little before the class starts. Finish times are advisory; as students work at different speeds your own finish time may differ to others in the class. Please be aware that there may be another class after your own and time is required to set up for follow on sessions.
Personal Data held on you by us
According to EU General Data Protection Regulations we are required to advise you of the uses we will make of the personal data you provide when making a class booking.
These are:
- To manage your booking, record your attendance, and ensure your place is secured
- To contact you in advance of the class to confirm your booking, immediately before the class to remind you of your booking and to advise of any materials you should bring
- To contact you in case of changes to the time, date, venue or content
- To contact you when your work is ready to arrange collection/postage
We will not use these details to market to you or send unsolicited emails, nor will we share this data with any 3rd party except for the express purpose of fulfilling our booking – i.e. dietary requirements, special learning requirements etc.
Deep Waters Glass additional Terms and Conditions for glass fusing workshops
Should you wish to make additional pieces and time allows these are available for an additional cost to be paid by cash or card at the time of purchase.
Health & Safety
Glass is sharp, you will be working with raw cut edges. It is important that everyone respects all Health & Safety guidelines. Basic rules will be explained at the start of the session
Deep Waters Glass cannot be held responsible for any injuries sustained as a result of not following the safety instructions given.
Deep Waters Glass is not responsible for any damage caused to work and are not responsible for any work or personal belongings.
We reserve the right to remove any person from a course for failure to respect any Health and Safety guidelines. No refund will be given.
Please, wear closed toes shoes. Failure to do so will result in you being unable to participate in the class.
Please tie back long hair.
Please avoid wearing loose sleeves and dangly bracelets.
For safety and insurance reasons, children under 18 attending one of our glass fusing workshops must be accompanied by an adult and remain under close adult supervision at all time.
