‘Lovan’ – Old Cornish for ‘Rope’

I create homeware using traditional fishing, lobster, and crab rope – weaving baskets, planters, mats, and runners by hand.

Living on the rugged North Cornwall coast, I draw constant inspiration from the wild beauty of the sea and the dramatic shift of the seasons. My love for the working fishing harbours scattered along the coastline deeply shapes my inspiration along with the robust nature of fishing nets and crab pots.

Hardwearing yet simple, my baskets and mats are designed for cosy homes and gardens alike. Whether indoors or out, they’re made to last and bring a touch of coastal life into everyday living.
